Sometimes I wish I was an NBA scout or a columnist for the Free Press (or maybe a semi-regular on Around the Horn).
I understand firing Henry Bibby, but Majerus? Forget it. Majerus is a coach who didn't even live in the State where he last coached. Majerus is a good coach, but he could care less about effort.
Serious insult. Lakers tell Rush: you're worth two picks we'll probably not keep. Nice.
Kidd trade bait? Rule number one: don't trade for superstars who can't get the allusive championship ring out of their head. Barkley to Houston, Payton to Milwaukee (then Los Angeles), Morning to New Jersey. Doesn't ever really work out (oh, and Kidd in Jersey too!).
