Some people have written me privately, asking: who is Bert Crum, that fellow who comments on your blog and has a bad lisp?

Some background info can be found here as well as here (check under pistachio salad, his favorite).

Excuse me, but Bert actually died back in 1991. I think you're being fooled by a Crum imposter. There's lots of them. They go around the net, pretending to be Bert Crum. I call them "Crummies."
